GYPSY is about dreams - the dreams we have for ourselves and for the people close to us - a sentiment aptly summed up by the lyric, "I had a dream about you..."
The surrealistic settings by Cliff Simcox helped to reinforce the "dream" theme in our production of GYPSY and made the transitions between scenes a lot easier.
In true show biz tradition, the leading lady became ill and the understudy, Wendy Moscovis, took to the stage.
Both Diane and Wendy gave outstanding performances and brought out the guts and vulnerability of the legendary Momma Rose.
